You start from people, not strangers
Joining happens through an invitation from someone you know. There is no member search, no suggested people, and no way for a stranger to browse, follow, or message you.
Closeweave is being built. It is not open yet.
Closeweave is a private social space for established families and friend groups. Your posts are visible to the people you have accepted as connections, and your feed is ordered newest to oldest. That is the whole idea.

Closeweave is for adults. Accounts are for people 18 or older. There is no sexual content or nudity on Closeweave, and there is no setting, section, or tier that allows it.
Closeweave is designed for groups of people who already know each other:
We call one of those groups a cluster. Closeweave is built to be joined by a whole cluster at once, because a social space with one person in it is useless.
Joining happens through an invitation from someone you know. There is no member search, no suggested people, and no way for a stranger to browse, follow, or message you.
A connection has to be requested and accepted by both people. Your posts and photos are visible to your accepted connections and to private groups you have joined. Nothing you post is public, and nothing is indexed by search engines.
Your feed is strictly reverse chronological: the most recent post from your connections is first, and the oldest is last. There is no engagement score, no relevance score, and no promoted insertion. When you reach the end, it says you are caught up, and stops.
Closeweave is paid by the people who use it. That is what makes it possible to refuse advertising and to leave your behavior alone. These are the only prices there are.
There are no other prices, no paid tiers that unlock the core product, and no price rise for people who are already members.
Founding members pay $10 for the first year and help decide what gets built while it is still small enough to change. Afterwards the ordinary price applies: $12 per person per year, or $25 per household per year for up to five people.
Founding checkout is being prepared. You can still register your cluster interest below.
No payment is taken on this page and no account is created here. Any founding-member charge happens on the hosted checkout page, not on this one.
This form is how we find out whether whole groups, not scattered individuals, would move to Closeweave. If you organise a family or friend group that might come across together, tell us about it.
This page loads no remote scripts, no fonts from anyone else, no analytics, and no pixels. Nothing here follows you around, and there is nothing to opt out of.
Only what the form shows: your name, your email address, a description of your group, an approximate number of adults, and whether you would pay the founding-member rate. It is used to follow up with you about this validation and for nothing else.
The service will ask for an email address, a password, a display name, and what you choose to post. Photo location metadata is stripped on upload. Members can export everything they have and delete their account.
There is no support address to publish yet, because there is no service running to support. Send a question here instead and it reaches the same place as everything else on this page. If you already sent the form above, you can reply to us on that thread instead.
